Rebecca Klein is a Queens-based reporter who primarily covers education, labor and politics. She is currently a senior reporter at HuffPost. Before joining HuffPost, Rebecca worked at the New York public radio station, WNYC.

Rebecca’s work has been recognized by organizations like the Online News Association and she frequently appears on panels, radio programs and podcasts to discuss her reporting. In the fall, Rebecca will be teaching investigative journalism at Five Towns College.

Rebecca volunteers as a mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters NYC and for the OpEd Project, an organization that works to increase the range of voices in newspapers’ opinion sections. She received her bachelor’s degree from Brandeis University and her master’s degree from the Columbia University School of Journalism. Subscribe to her newsletter here.
